Purpose
The Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Chair plays a key role in providing strategic direction and leadership to the provincial PD committee, with a focus on achieving the goals outlined in the committee terms of reference and approved annual work plan.
Summary of Role
As a leader and key facilitator, the PD chair works closely with PD committee members from all Health Authority Renal Programs, patient partners as well as the leadership of other provincial committees and working groups. The goal is to improve standards of independent hemodialysis care and the overall patient experience across the province.
