Resources for Renal Program Development and Management

Supporting fully integrated regional programs with capacity to provide care to kidney patients throughout the continuum of care remains a key principle for BC Renal.
Integrated programs in BC's regional health authorities include:

  • Chronic kidney disease clinics (for patients who have kidney disease but do not require dialysis)
  •  In-hospital hemodialysis
  • Community unit hemodialysis
  • Independent dialysis: peritoneal dialysis, home-based hemodialysis options and self care within facilities
BC Renal has developed several resources to provide a framework for health authorities and institutions in developing and managing their renal program.

Two foundational resources are linked in the sidebar, and we have shared many of additional documents with the broader BC Renal network. If you would like further information, please contact bcrenal@bcrenal.ca
